We are a strong and formidable, high-end business, seeking an ambitious person to join our team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and being a vital member of the senior management team.

The Operations Manager will provide inspired leadership for the operations organisation and maintain high levels of quality standards for products, productivity and efficiency through established processes and practices.

In addition, they will also have responsibility for leading, developing and motivating the operations team, overseeing and maintaining compliance for the management of our team, policy decisions, and quality.

We are particularly interested in someone who is looking to grow within the business, and wants to work towards taking on more responsibility, aspiring to a GM or even MD.

The Role:



There are four key responsibilities required for this role, but not limited to:

Customer Service



Ensure the highest level of customer care is maintained throughout the customer journey. This includes production to on-time delivery.

Operations



Manage and coordinate all activities associated with the production, delivery and installation of all Bakers' products and services. Responsible for ensuring operations staff comply with all Health and Safety Systems and controls.

Leadership



Continuous leadership and development of a rewarding environment to motivate and empower all members of the team. Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives

Administration



Oversees the smooth and efficient operation of a company's office environment. Manages some administrative tasks, i.e., tying up delivery notes with invoices, Sage inputs, budgets, etc. and assisting with HR functions.

Skills



Good leadership qualities with the ability to provide motivation and direction Practical knowledge of budgeting Good planning and organisational skills with a determination to accomplish goals. Ability to work on your own initiative. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience:



2+ years' experience of working at a senior level within manufacturing or similar building industry Organisational and leadership capabilities Managing people Experience with statistical analysis and data processing Customer service and relationship building Strong MS Office skills and associated operations software packages

Project management and planning experience Commercially aware with a proficient level of financial controls

Hours

: 40 hours working week. Monday to Friday

Pay: 47,000.00-49,712.00 per year
