We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our award winning team.
In this exciting role, you will oversee and streamline daily insurance operations, focusing on process improvement, staff leadership, technology implementation, supplier management, and compliance to ensure efficient service delivery and strategic business goals. The role will also involve financial reporting, and collaborating with various departments to maintain operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Process Management:
Leading process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives for key insurance processes such as new business, renewals, and credit control.
Team Leadership:
Managing and coaching an operations team to deliver excellent client service and drive positive outcomes.
Technology Oversight:
Implementing and managing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Vendor Management:
Overseeing relationships and contracts with external service providers.
Reporting & Analytics:
Developing and maintaining management information (MI) and analytics reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Compliance & Risk:
Ensuring all operations comply with FCA regulatory standards.
Strategic Planning:
Supporting strategic business and operational planning, including financial management and budgeting.
Required Skills & Experience
Insurance Industry Experience:
Demonstrable experience in the insurance sector, with specific knowledge of the relevant markets.
Operations Management:
A proven track record of managing and optimizing day-to-day operations.
Process Improvement:
Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives and process mapping.
Leadership & Coaching:
The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
Analytical & Problem-Solving:
Skills to analyze data, develop insights, and solve complex operational problems.
Project Management:
Experience in driving projects, particularly in operations and technology transformation.
