VIP First Limited (VFL) is a rapidly growing company with the goal of becoming the leading cleaning service provider in the aviation industry. To support our expansion, we are looking to hire an Operations Manager.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in aviation and proven experience working within a major, busy international airport environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, safety, and exceptional service delivery across our airport activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily operational activities to ensure smooth service delivery within the airport environment.
Oversee staff performance, scheduling, and resource allocation in line with operational needs.
Ensure compliance with all airport regulations, aviation safety standards, and company policies.
Act as the key point of contact with airport authorities, airlines, ground handling teams, and other stakeholders.
Drive operational excellence by monitoring KPIs, identifying risks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage incident response and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
Develop and train staff to maintain high standards of performance and service.
Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are strictly adhered to at all times.
Prepare reports, analyse operational performance, and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager (or senior operations role) within aviation and a major busy airport.
Strong knowledge of airport operations, safety, and compliance regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Aviation Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with Heathrow-specific operational systems and procedures.
