We are seeking an experiencedOperations Manager-level professional
to provide hands-on leadership and technical oversight on a liveacute hospital contract in the West London
. This is afixed six-month assignment
and isnot
a purely advisory or project-based role.The successful candidate will bemechanically biased
and will undertakeAuthorised Person (AP) duties
for bothVentilation
andMedical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS)
, in accordance withHTM 03-01
andHTM 02-01
.Given the clinical environment,current and demonstrable AP experience within healthcare settings is essential
.Key Responsibilities
Operate at
Operations Manager level
, supporting a live hospital contract Providehands-on leadership
to site teams and specialist subcontractors Act as thesenior technical escalation point
for mechanical, ventilation, and MGPS matters DischargeAuthorised Person (AP)
responsibilities for: Ventilation (HTM 03-01) Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (HTM 02-01) Work closely with theNHS Trust
, estates teams, and clinical stakeholders Supportstatutory compliance
, risk management, and safe systems of work Ensure overallcontract performance
, governance, and technical assuranceEssential Requirements
Strong
mechanical engineering background
Proven experience operating atOperations Manager or senior technical leadership level
Current AP Ventilation experience
within healthcareMedical Gas competence
with demonstrable hands-on experience Previous experience working onlive hospital or acute healthcare environments
In-depth knowledge ofHTM 03-01 and HTM 02-01
Ability to lead, influence, and engage effectively with multidisciplinary teamsMedical Gas Experience (One or More Required)
Candidates with Medical Gas capability would typically demonstrate one or more of the following:HTM 02-01 Medical Gas Pipeline Systems training
Authorised Person (MGPS AP)
orCompetent Person (CP)
certification Medical GasInstaller
orService Technician
certification Manufacturer training (e.g.BOC, Linde, Atlas Copco, BeaconMedaes
) Explicit experience inMGPS installation, testing, validation, commissioning, or maintenance
Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: 40,057.51-76,769.11 per year
Work Location: On the road
