Congham Hall is a privately owned 31 bedroom Hotel located in North Norfolk which holds the AA'S Four Red Star status, a Five Bubble rated Spa and a busy Two Rosette Restaurant and Bar.

We are seeking an experienced and loyal Operations Manager to support the General Manager and Deputy Manager in leading the operations from the front. This is a great opportunity for a results driven professional to help inspire teams, enhance guest experience and to contribute to the continued success and growth of a very busy and well respected Hotel, Restaurant and Spa.

The Operations Manager will be a hands on leader, overseeing the day-to-day operations ensuring our guests receive the exceptional service that Congham prides itself on. You will have thorough knowledge of the hotel, rooms, facilities, restaurant and the local area. Working closely with the Heads of Department, you will be supporting on the floor, implementing the highest standards in terms of efficiency and friendliness whilst ensuring revenue is maximised through effective organisation and execution. You will help implement policies and procedures whilst maintaining thorough communication between all departments to ensure a seamless overall experience. You will also act as a Duty Manager on shift, as well as an overnight on call Duty Manager.

Our team are our biggest asset and along with the General Manager and Deputy Manager, the Operations Manager will play a key role in maintaining a positive and efficient working environment, whilst making sure our team feel supported, trusted, trained sufficiently and valued.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry as well as strong knowledge of hospitality operations, with ideally a background in food and beverage management. You must possess exceptional leadership and people management skills whilst being a strategic thinker with excellent problem solving abilities, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You must be resilient, adaptable, calm under pressure, approachable and be prepared to just get "stuck in".

This job is on a rota basis which includes working evenings and weekends, which as you would expect in our industry will include bank holidays and Christmas etc.
