About the Role



TITAN Containers is looking for an experienced

Operations Manager

to lead and optimise our depot, service, maintenance, quality control, and transport operations.

This is a pivotal role that ensures our day-to-day operations run efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively -- all while maintaining the high standards our customers expect. You'll drive operational excellence, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and continuously improve processes to support TITAN's strategic growth and commitment to quality service.

What You'll Do



Operational Leadership



Oversee daily operations across depots, service and maintenance, quality control, and transport teams. Ensure departments meet performance, safety, and compliance objectives. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Manage resources, capacity, and stock across depots.

Supply Chain & Logistics



Oversee container movements between depots, customers, and maintenance sites. Manage fleet scheduling, route optimisation, and maintenance planning. Maintain strong inventory control of containers, parts, and materials. Support sustainability through smarter transport planning and reduced emissions.

Service, Maintenance & Quality



Ensure all containers, vehicles, and lifting equipment are inspected and serviced to ISO standards. Maintain quality control systems and compliance with HSE regulations. Lead internal audits and promote a strong safety culture across operations.

Leadership & Development



Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams across multiple locations. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support ongoing staff training and professional growth.

Customer & Stakeholder Focus



Ensure outstanding customer service and timely delivery performance. Collaborate with sales and management teams to resolve operational challenges. Drive improvements based on customer feedback and service metrics.

Financial & Performance Management



Monitor operational budgets, costs, and KPIs. Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved efficiency. Contribute to financial forecasting and profitability targets.

Technology & Continuous Improvement



Use fleet and inventory management systems to streamline operations. Champion innovation and the adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Health, Safety & Sustainability



Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and ISO standards. Promote sustainability initiatives across sites to reduce environmental impact. Develop contingency plans for operational risks and disruptions.

About You



You're a proven leader with strong operational, logistical, and people management experience -- ideally within the

logistics, transport, or container industry

. You're strategic, solutions-focused, and passionate about driving performance while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications & Experience:



Experience leading operations across logistics, transport, or container services Strong knowledge of ISO, HSE, and environmental compliance Proven success managing cross-functional and multi-site teams Financial and analytical skills for managing budgets and KPIs Proficient in fleet or operational management software and MS Office Excellent communication and leadership skills
