Due to our continued growth, we are now have a greatopportunity for an established, highly organised and results-driven

OperationsManager

to join our team. The rolewill support with overseeing and optimising day-to-day logistics operationswithin our 3PL site at Whetstone. The ideal candidate will have experience ofmanaging warehouse activities, transportation coordination, clientrelationships, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure serviceexcellence and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities will be to support the GeneralManager with:




OperationalOversight:




Manage daily warehouse and distributionoperations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and orderfulfillment.


Ensure compliance with safety, quality, andregulatory standards.


Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to driveperformance improvements.


ClientRelationship Management:




Serve as the primary point of contact for keyclients, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.


Conduct regular performance reviews and providedata-driven insights and recommendations.


TeamLeadership:




Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors,warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators.


Foster a culture of accountability, safety, andcontinuous improvement.


ProcessImprovement:




Identify inefficiencies and implement leanpractices to optimize workflows and reduce costs.


Lead or support automation and technologyintegration projects.


Transportation& Vendor Coordination:




Oversee inbound and outbound transportation,scheduling, and performance monitoring.


Manage relationships with third-party vendorsand carriers.

What skills and experience are we looking for:




Provenexperience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, with at least2 years in a managerial role.


Strongknowledge of 3PL operations, WMS/TMS systems, and logistics best practices.


Excellentleadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite.


LeanSix Sigma certification is a plus.
