Syston Autos is a growing car dealership with 100+ vehicles based in Syston and Leicester, known for delivering quality vehicles and honest service. We are currently in an exciting investment phase, expanding our operations and infrastructure.
We're looking for a
motivated, hands-on Operations Manager
to take charge and lead the dealership into its next phase of growth.

. You'll be at the centre of everything, coordinating between mechanics, customers, clients, car auctions, and our internal team, ensuring smooth daily operations and long-term efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall day-to-day operations of the dealership
Coordinate work with mechanics and auction run team, ensuring timely preparation and servicing of vehicles
Handle customer and client communications professionally and promptly
Oversee vehicle sourcing and relationships with car auction providers
Manage internal processes: documentation, vehicle inventory, collections/deliveries
Work closely with the CEO to identify and implement improvements
Ensure high standards across customer service, vehicle quality, and team productivity
Take ownership and initiative, solve problems as they arise and keep operations running smoothly
Requirements:
Must be aged 25 or over (insurance compliance requirement).
Must hold a valid full UK Driver's License.
Minimum 3 years of proven administrative or operational supervision experience, ideally within the automotive sector.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
