We're looking for an Operations manager specialising in the manufacture of bespoke signage, visual identity and branding solutions nationwide. Responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the on-site & Field Service teams, providing leadership, and improving processes, efficiencies and productivity.

The successful candidate will have experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing, industrial engineering, CAD or a similar related field.

Main Aim



Oversee all operational aspects of on-site & Field Services teams, providing leadership and improving processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the daily operations of the production teams Develop & implement operational efficiency & productivity Manage project workflows, to ensure timely completion Oversee Installations with Installation manager Collaborate with internal teams, from initial enquiry to installation of the final product to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct regular performance evaluations, & provide ongoing training & development Supervise production to ensure all projects are planned, executed, & delivered to clients satisfaction Ensure clear communication with the sales team regarding project status, changes, & any issues that arise Ensure quality standards & client specifications are met Manage schedules & logistics to optimise efficiency & minimise disruptions Resolve any on-site issues, or challenges, promptly & effectively Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations within the workplace - including working with the HSE Manager & MD to conduct regular safety training & audits Any other ad hoc task in line with the role.

Key Skills & Experience



Proven Production Management experience in light manufacturing, industrial engineering, CAD or a related field is required. Proven experience leading a team. Good technical knowledge, including an understanding of led illumination & substrates and sign fabrication. Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. A keen attention to detail and ensures high quality through out. Good computer skills, numeracy skills with knowledge of Word and Excel. Results Driven and Commericially Aware
