DOC Cleaning is a privately owned family run business providing a range of cleaning and associated services to a wide range of prestigious landmark locations predominantly in London, the Southeast and Home Counties.
An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to manage a prestigious heritage site in London's West End.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail and flexibility to meet the varying demands and priorities of the role.
Leading a team of approximately 40 people, key responsibilities of the role include:
Induction, training, and development of staff
Carrying out cleaning audits with the client
Ensuring that SLAs and KPIs are delivered.
Processing fortnightly staff wages
Managing our service partners; booking, checking, and signing off works
Client liaison
Ad hoc advanced cleaning works; fogging and graffiti removal.
Completing monthly management reports
Attending monthly meetings supported by the Operations Director
Completing ad hoc quotations
Arranging staff cover
Ensuring compliance with time management systems
Dealing with Health and Safety and HR matters
This position would suit an individual with experience of the cleaning industry looking to progress a career in management.
The successful candidate will be required to complete DOC's Management Development training programme.
Starting salary: 52,664 per annum
Normal working hours: 40 hours per week, normally worked over 5 days which could fall from Monday to Sunday. As the site is open 7 days per week, there is an expectation that the successful candidate will regularly work at weekends (this may be 1 or 2 weekends per month).
