Job Summary



The Operations Manager & Authorising Officer (AO) ensures the smooth running of all operational aspects of Azure Picture Limited, including studio management, equipment rental, and production services.

As the AO, this role carries legal responsibility for the company's compliance with

UK Sponsor Licence obligations

, including monitoring staff records, ensuring correct visa status for sponsored employees, and maintaining statutory compliance.

The role combines operational leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring that both client services and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Responsibilities



Operational Oversight



Manage day-to-day operations of the studio, equipment hire, and production services.

Compliance & Risk Management



Serve as Authorising Officer for the UK Sponsor Licence, responsible for ensuring legal compliance. Monitor and maintain employee records, sponsor duties, and immigration compliance. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, including risk assessments for shoots and events. Maintain insurance, licensing, and regulatory compliance across operations.

Team & Resource Management



Supervise and coordinate operational staff, including studio, equipment, and production teams. Allocate resources efficiently to ensure workflow across all departments. Lead staff training and development for operational and compliance procedures.

Client & Service Delivery



Monitor and ensure high-quality service delivery for clients using studio, hire, and production services. Resolve operational or client-related issues promptly to avoid disruptions. Liaise with clients to confirm scheduling, equipment needs, and production requirements.

Reporting & Administration



Report operational performance, compliance, and sponsor licence matters to the Director. Maintain accurate operational, compliance, and sponsor licence records. Assist with budgeting, cost control, and strategic operational planning. Coordinate scheduling of bookings, equipment allocation, and production support. Oversee equipment preparation, maintenance, and logistics.

Requirements



Proven experience in operations, production, or studio/equipment management. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and compliance procedures. Experience in legal or regulatory compliance, ideally including UK Sponsor Licence obligations. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple sites and teams flexibly.

Pay: 2,100.00 per month
