About the role
The Operations Manager oversees daily operations across inventory, logistics, all aspects of ICT, e-commerce, office management, and internal processes. The role ensures accurate stock control, efficient order fulfilment, reliable technology systems, and strong operational workflows to support sales growth and excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Control
Manage stock end-to-end using Microsoft Business Central and other Microsoft tools.
Maintain accurate SKUs, pricing, stock levels, and re-order triggers.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
E-Commerce & Digital Systems
Administer Shopify stores, ensuring accurate listings, pricing, stock sync, and smooth checkout.
Manage CRM platforms, customer data accuracy, segmentation, and automations.
Oversee full ICT environment: Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Business Central, networks, devices, and security.
Manage external IT service providers, ensuring high-quality support and system reliability.
Drive system improvements, integrations, and automation across the business.
Logistics, Shipping & Supply Chain
Manage UK, European, and international shipping, including East Africa.
Oversee all 3PL logistics partners, couriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
Coordinate inbound stock and outbound order fulfilment, ensuring cost-efficient and compliant shipping.
Track delivery performance and resolve logistics issues quickly.
Office & Operational Management
Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and resource availability.
Procure equipment, supplies, and operational materials.
Provide operational support across all departments.
Process & SOP Development
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow documents.
Create clear, repeatable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Train teams and ensure adherence to processes.
Sales Support & Coordination
Ensure stock availability, accurate order processing, and reliable delivery timelines.
Provide operational reporting and insights to leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally to remove operational bottlenecks and support growth.

Skills & Experience
5+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or E-Commerce.
Strong experience with Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint.
Experience managing Shopify, CRM platforms, and ICT systems.
Experience managing 3PL partners and external IT service providers.
Knowledge of UK, Europe, and international shipping processes.
Proven ability to build SOPs and operational documentation.
