based in South London, supplying

restaurants and hospitality clients across London

We are now seeking an experienced

Operations Manager from the commercial laundry

sector to take responsibility for day-to-day operations and help further

professionalise the business

, while maintaining the personal service values that set us apart.

This is a

hands-on role

suited to someone who is comfortable leading from the floor, improving processes, and embedding a strong

health and safety culture

.

Key Responsibilities



Manage daily

commercial laundry operations

, including production, logistics, and service delivery Ensure

consistent linen quality and service standards

for hospitality customers Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams of which there is already one in place. Drive and maintain high

health & safety standards

, ensuring full compliance Review, improve, and document

operational processes and procedures

Monitor KPIs including productivity, quality, service levels, and costs Support business growth through improved efficiency and organisation Act as the senior operational point of contact within the business

Essential Experience & Skills



Proven experience in commercial laundry (essential)

Previous experience in an

operations, production, or depot management role

Strong understanding of

laundry processes, linen handling, and quality control

Sound knowledge of

health & safety regulations

within an industrial environment Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational setting Hands-on, practical, and solutions-focused management style Strong organisational and communication skills

Desirable



Experience supplying

hospitality or restaurant clients

Experience supporting business improvement or operational change IOSH, NEBOSH, or similar H&S qualification
