We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, managing teams, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Operations Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining high standards of quality and service delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimise efficiency and productivity.
Lead, motivate, and manage teams across various departments to achieve organisational goals.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
Coordinate with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and human resources to ensure seamless operations.
Oversee supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics to meet customer demands effectively.
Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resource allocation to support organisational objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development within the team.
Experience
Proven experience in a senior operations management role within a similar industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
Demonstrable experience in process optimisation and project management.
Proficiency in relevant software applications such as ERP systems, MS Office Suite, or specialised management tools.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is desirable.
A recognised qualification in business administration or operations management would be advantageous but is not essential.
