About the Role





Due to continued business growth, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated

Operations Manager

to join our dynamic Aviation team.



This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with strong surveying and project management expertise to make a significant impact across a diverse range of high-profile projects within the rapidly evolving Geospatial industry.



As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, overseeing survey operations, and ensuring successful project delivery in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.




Key Responsibilities




Take overall responsibility for the operations of the Aviation department. Ensure efficient scheduling of staff and equipment across projects. Collaborate with senior leadership and finance teams to monitor and deliver projects within budget. Provide superior client service, including quotations, tender submissions, and delivery of key data. Maintain quality assurance standards across all departmental work. Promote and ensure Health & Safety compliance. Support recruitment and training within the department. Undertake site/survey activities as required for project delivery. Communicate effectively with other departments regarding technical procedures and workflows.



Role Requirements




Ability to work from our Manchester or Birmingham office. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Surveyor (demonstrating competency). Degree in surveying or related field (desirable). Health, Safety and Environmental training (SPA, RAMS, lone working, etc.). CSCS card and relevant management training. Valid UK manual driving licence. Willingness to travel nationwide when required.

Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and meet critical deadlines. Flexible, positive attitude and strong team player.
