Operations & Commercial Manager

The Role
We're seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Operations & Commercial Manager to take ownership of the operational and financial performance of the business.
This is not a creative role -- it's about building and refining the systems that make creativity thrive efficiently, safely, and profitably.
You'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of operations, commercial reporting, and financial oversight -- ensuring that every project delivered by WeBelieve Media is executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee and optimise production workflows, resource planning, and scheduling across multiple projects.
Implement and refine systems and processes to improve operational efficiency, delivery timelines, and cost control.
Manage compliance with ISO certifications and ensure all operational documentation remains up to date.
Lead on risk assessments and uphold Health & Safety best practice across all shoots and office operations.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
Monitor and manage company P&L, cash flow, and forecasting with the Managing Director.
Oversee client invoicing, supplier payments, and credit control with support from the finance administrator/bookkeeper.
Track project profitability and ensure revenue and margin targets are achieved.
Provide regular financial and operational performance reports to senior management.
Strategic Delivery
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimisation.
Support tender and quote preparation with accurate costing and margin analysis.
Work closely with Project Managers and Producers to ensure project delivery aligns with commercial goals.
Contribute to business planning, resource forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You're an operations-driven professional who thrives on structure, efficiency, and measurable results. You take pride in accuracy and reliability, with the confidence to challenge processes and drive improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years in an operational or commercial management role (ideally within a creative, production, or project-based business).
Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proven experience implementing operational systems and improving efficiency.
Solid grasp of Health & Safety, risk management, and compliance processes.
Highly proficient in Excel, project management tools, and financial reporting.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
Desirable
Experience working within ISO-certified environments.
Familiarity with production scheduling and resource management.
Understanding of SME business operations and scaling processes.

Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per year
