WHAT YOU'LL DO

To strategically manage all warehouse, distribution and maintenance activities in line with DHL's policies and vision, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all functions, performance and productivity, ensuring safe and cost-effective methods are a priority consideration To manage and implement the daily coordination of direct reports, ensuring that all schedules, regulations, records and working practices are up-to-date and in line with company policies and UK legislation, whilst maintaining excellent working practices and health & safety compliance across the business Controlling your operational processes (inbound, picking, outbound, etc), fulfilling service level agreement and deadlines established. To take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and the customer(s). Managing a direct team of x4 Shift Managers along with FLMs , colleagues on site. You will be working in a food retail warehouse

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Previous and practical experience as a

Warehouse Operations Manage

r within a busy logistics environment Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management and legislation Experience of managing, shift managers within a warehouse enviroment Strong leadership skills, with the ability to organise and train direct reports Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software programmes and packages Analytical, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Have experence in budget control and P& L Management Has previous resource planning experience Happy to work : Core hrs. (8:00 -18:00) | Occasional hrs 10:00 -22:00 Experience working in
