Here at GXO we have an exciting new opportunity for an

Operations Manager

to join our multiuser site in

Peterborough

. You'll play a vital role in supporting the senior leadership team in ensuring colleagues meet or exceed operational requirements for our customer. This will involve organising colleagues and supervising workload to meet targets and KPIs, within the agreed timeframe.

This is a full-time, permanent role, with a shift pattern of

Monday till Friday,

covering the hours of

08:30 till 17:00

. However, some flexibility on hours and days will be required. This is logistics, after all.

We're looking to offer a salary of

55,000

What you'll do on a typical day:

Review and evaluate the warehouse plans daily making recommendations for changes as appropriate to ensure all KPI's are achieved and improved upon To manage and control all warehouse operational areas and ensure customer satisfaction and KPI's are achieved in order to maintain and improve effective relationships with the customer. Work with the SLT and Customer to identify further opportunities and recommendations for improvements through the use of innovation which enhance the quality of our service provision and reduce cost or waste. Provide leadership to direct reports and ensure all operational procedures and processes are adhered to ensuring the effective flow of goods into, through and out of the site and safe onward transportation to their final point of delivery. To liaise with Customer covering all aspects of warehouse operation, promotions, targets, errors and performance measures.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Experience managing a fast-paced warehouse operation within a senior leadership role Understanding & demonstrable experience of managing an E-fulfilment fashion retail Operation Ability to establish and manage continuous improvement initiatives, whilst driving efficiency Highly analytical and IT literate, with experience of WMS systems
