Operations Manager (production General Manager)
Job Description
We are a market leading commercial glazing specialist with an extensive product and project portfolio that includes specialist windows, curtain walling, door systems and securing fencing. Operating across the UK and internationally, we work with NHS Trusts, Supervised Care Providers, main contractors, architects and other clients to design, manufacture and install glazing systems, including award-winning proprietary products and standard systems.
We are seeking a Production General Manager to lead the production and fabrication of commercial glazing products. About the role
As Production General Manager you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and be accountable for all areas of Production, Logistics and Stock Control. You must have a proven track record of leading a production division, ideally in aluminium fabrication with a thorough knowledge of H&S requirements, quality assurance and lean manufacturing. You will be able to lead, develop and motivate a team whilst leading on employee retention. You will be responsible for driving efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process and developing an industry leading team. You will need to have experience of strategic planning, change management and be able to set and work to an annual budget.
