Our building services team are responsible for the maintenance, development, repair and refurbishment of a wide range of diverse estate properties, including residential, Mansion Houses and farm buildings.

The role?

As Operations Manager you will manage the delivery of building operations at Borders Estate, ensuring all built assets are maintained to our high standards in line with budgets. Working closely with the Asset Manager and Estate Director, you will provide technical advice, manage in-house trades persons & contractors working at our Selkirk and Langholm locations, and ensure compliance with CDM and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for coordinating cyclical maintenance and reactive repairs, managing costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

The person?

With strong technical knowledge, you will be organised and proactive with the ability to confidently communicate with a range of stakeholders. Candidates must have strong leadership & problem solving skills, experience in a similar building service management role and a full UK driving licence.
