Summary

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Ballymena. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation and warehousing services, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Manage the performance of staff, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery. Monitor key performance indicators and prepare reports for management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the transportation/logistics industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
