We're looking for a proactive, highly organised
Operations Manager
to join our team and take a key leadership role in running all aspects of our business. This is a varied and rewarding position offering excellent career progression, hands-on management experience, and the chance to develop a broad range of business and hospitality skills.
Reporting directly to the business owner, you'll oversee daily operations across our
office, front-of-house, and skipper teams
, ensuring everything runs smoothly year-round. You'll also work closely with department managers to maintain high standards, improve systems, and help grow the business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all departments
Hold weekly meetings with FOH, office, and skipper managers
Ensure smooth delivery of all hospitality services and events
Manage business finances, including invoices, cash handling, and reconciliations
Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring optimal staffing levels and cost control
Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Deliver or coordinate staff training and development initiatives
Handle HR administration including job descriptions, contracts, pay, and discipline
Manage product pricing, supplier relationships, and profit margins
Oversee marketing efforts including social media, signage, and promotions
Implement and maintain effective operational systems
Monitor and manage inventory and stock control (wet/dry stock, glassware, linen, etc.)
Process payroll accurately and on time
Support event planning and execution
Maintain EHO, first aid, and safety compliance
Build and nurture business partnerships and supplier relationships
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in
hospitality management
or a similar leadership role
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Confident managing people, processes, and multiple priorities
A positive, professional, and approachable personality

Training & Support
We provide a structured training plan to ensure you gain a full understanding of our operations and the wider hospitality business. You'll receive all the support and resources you need before taking full ownership of the day-to-day running of the business.
Hours & Working Pattern
In-season (March-October):
45 hours per week, flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Off-season (November-February):
37.5 hours per week, office-based
Encouraged to take annual leave during the winter period (November-February)
