We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our organisation. Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimise operational performance. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of staff to achieve high levels of performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management. Identify areas for improvement within operational processes and implement necessary changes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and development initiatives. Maintaining records using a variety of software packages Performing HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling, and disciplining employees Planning Delivery runs for drivers according to weight and geographics. Creating driver manifests

Skills

Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and performance metrics is advantageous.
