Operations Manager

to help drive our mission forward. This is a pivotal role in shaping our team, streamlining our operations, and ensuring our organisation continues to grow effectively.

Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of our organisation. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, leading the recruitment, managing team members (working remotely and in-house), and working closely with the CEO to implement strategies that advance our mission. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

Duties



Work closely with the CEO on strategic planning and execution. Develop tailored strategies for each team member's role and responsibilities. Set KPIs and monitor performance against objectives. Lead the recruitment process of our new team members. Manage day-to-day office operations and ensure efficient workflow. Supervise and support our staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Make informed, timely decisions to support operational needs. Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity. Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders, ensuring professional phone etiquette. Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required. Foster a positive, mission-driven work culture.

Requirements



Minimum 3 years' proven experience in a managerial role (essential). Experience in the charitable or non-profit sector (highly desirable). Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams including managing staff members working remotely. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong IT skills, including knowledge of some project management software. Previous experience in human resources is advantageous. Familiarity with clerical duties such as data entry and document management.
