We are based in Solihull, West Midlands and operate across the UK. Specialising in commercial and industrial electrical installations including communications, network and security systems. Over the years we have gained an extensive knowledge of the industry; due to our expert knowledge and experience we work across a variety of industries including telecommunications, leisure, and commercial businesses.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations for a large telecommunications client. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the telecommunications industry or come from an engineering background. This is a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a positive work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency. Lead the office team in planning engineers' work schedules. Provide technical support to engineers when on site. Ensure vans are well maintained by booking in services, MOTS and other mechanical faults. Ordering and maintaining stock Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity. Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to support organisational growth.

Skills and experience



Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively. Attention to detail. Confident with Excel spreadsheets. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure. A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking skills.

Pay: From 35,000.00 per year
