Operations Manager

Wakefield, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Overview

Kegspertise Logistics Ltd provides a national container collection service to the UK Brewing industry. The containers consist of kegs, casks and gas cylinders used for the dispensing of beer products in pubs.

These assets often stray from traditional supply routes that are visible to the Brewing Industry making it difficult for the normal return to the owning Brewer. This results in an ongoing requirement for an independent organisation to proactively collect these assets and sort them prior to returning them to the owner.

Operating from five locations, small independent teams proactively collect containers from pre advised locations across Great Britain. The containers are deposited at the sites and are categorised by size, type and owner. Once sorted the containers are either delivered back to the owner, or the owner will self-collect.

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless, efficient, and cost-effective running of logistics operations across the business. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading site teams, optimising processes, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance, and driving continuous improvement to achieve organisational goals.
