Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our Walsall facility. This pivotal role contributes to our mission of providing top-tier engineering products and solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all operational activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Manage production schedules, resource planning, and inventory control. Oversee health and safety compliance across the facility. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams to optimize processes. Monitor key performance indicators and prepare reports for senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. Lead, motivate, and develop the operations team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in operations management within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to manufacturing. Ability to analyze data and improve operational processes. Effective communication skills at all levels. Preferably experience with metasl forming, welding and assemblies. Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or related field is advantageous.
