Operations Manager

to help drive our continued success.

The Role



We are looking for a proactive and organised Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our decking installation operations. You will be responsible for managing project scheduling, coordinating installer teams, optimising workflows, and ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role with significant influence on our service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee day-to-day operations of UPVC decking installations nationwide

Manage and coordinate installer schedules, ensuring efficient project delivery

Monitor project progress, address bottlenecks, and resolve operational challenges

Work closely with the commercial and installation teams to optimise processes

Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer service

Promote and uphold all H&S compliance procedures for colleagues, visitors, and contractors

Monitor and enforce mandatory safety and compliance training

Support recruitment and onboarding of installation staff

Ensure equipment and vehicles undergo regular inspections, reporting any safety concerns

Analyse operational performance and recommend improvements

About You



Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally within construction, installation, or a related industry. Level 3 Leadership & Management apprenticeship (or equivalent) - desirable

IOSH trained (desirable; training can be provided)

Strong organisational and leadership skills

Excellent communication, organizing and problem-solving abilities

Experience developing, leading and motivating teams

Experience managing field-based teams and project schedules

Comfortable with manual scheduling tools (Excel) and open to process improvements

A hands-on, customer-focused approach
