We're looking for an
experienced, hands-on leader
to join our world-class manufacturing and distribution centre in
East
Yorkshire
. This is a pivotal role in our ongoing expansion, with real influence over production, quality, and supply chain performance across international markets.
The Role
You'll take ownership of daily manufacturing and warehousing operations, leading a skilled team of supervisors, engineers, and operators. Working closely with our senior leadership, you'll ensure production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and improvements are implemented that will take our operations to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop teams across manufacturing, assembly, and warehousing
Maintain exceptional quality, health & safety, and delivery performance
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste
Plan and oversee capital investment projects
Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Quality, Finance, and Product teams
Foster a culture of accountability, flexibility, and customer focus
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally plastics or similar)
A strong understanding of warehouse operations and production machinery
A strong background of driving change within a workforce focusing on minimising costs, streamline processes and driving training to up skill the workforce to complete tasks across a variety of roles.
Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and health & safety best practice
The ability to motivate, inspire, and bring the best out of your team
A flexible, "can-do" mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
