Operations Performance Analyst (Data Analyst).
Location: Heywood - Manchester Area - UK

The role
Lineage UK is currently looking for an Operations Performance Clerk to join our new team in Heywood. The Operations Performance Clerk plays a key role in supporting the performance team by tracking and reporting on operational volumes, vehicle utilisation, and customer activity across the network. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel and data handling skills, who enjoys working with numbers and supporting operational insight.
Tasks include:
Volume Tracking:

• Monitor and report on overall network volume
• Track outbound, trunking, and collection volumes per depot
• Provide customer-level volume insights

Vehicle Utilisation:

• Analyse depot-level vehicle numbers and fill rates
• Conduct rigid vehicle analysis
• Report on overall network utilisation

Customer Volume Tracking:

• Split and report Retail vs. FS volumes
• Track collection and trunked volumes by customer

KPI Reporting:

• Complete and maintain KPI dashboards (TBD)
• Identify trends and support performance reporting

Retailer Analysis:

• Provide retailer split and customer analysis
• Support depot-level retailer performance reviews

Qualifications:

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple data streams
• Previous experience in logistics or transport operations (desirable)
• Preferable a Bachelors degree, this could be an interesting opportunity to start your career
