Operations Planning Assistant

Location: Manchester (WA15 0AF)

About the Role

The planning function is responsible for supporting one of the fastest growing sports nutrition brands in the world. Reporting to the Operations Planning Manager, THG is looking to recruit an Assistant Operations Planner for Myprotein. You will be responsible for providing the data behind the b2b supply planning model, tracking sales performance and analysing stock profile. You will also part own supply chain for the in-house kitting function across the Nutrition division. The planning function is responsible for supporting one of the fastest growing sports nutrition brands in the world. There is great opportunity to take ownership of, and make improvements to, key processes within supply chain. The fast-paced THG environment provides an opportunity to get involved with a wide range of interesting projects.

Responsibilities:

• To take ownership of stock planning to service B2B sales across multiple warehouses
• Work closely with the trading and supply planning teams to ensure the sales and replenishment plans are being executed as forecasted
• Report on and track stock profile to maintain sales availability and reduce overstocks
• Assist in providing ad-hoc analysis and reports for the planning function

Requirements:

• Degree Qualification (ideally STEM)
• Strong numerical and reporting skills applied in Excel (SQL desirable)
• Experience working in Supply chain desirable
• An understanding of ecommerce/b2b sales
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail
• Strong Communication Skills
