We are a well-established gymnastics programme delivering structured, high-quality sessions to a large number of children each week. Our focus is on consistency, safety, and creating a positive, professional environment for both families and staff.
As the organisation continues to strengthen its operations and reduce reliance on founder-led day-to-day management, we are introducing an Operations & Programme Lead role to support the smooth running of sessions and staff coordination.
The Role
This is a
hands-on operational role
focused on ensuring gymnastics sessions run smoothly, safely, and consistently. You will be present during sessions, coordinating staff, handling issues as they arise, and acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day operational matters.
This role is
not
a senior coaching or strategic position. It is about structure, calm decision-making, and consistency.
Key ResponsibilitiesSession Operations
Oversee gymnastics sessions during allocated hours
Ensure sessions start on time and run to schedule
Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios
Ensure safety procedures and standards are followed
Staff Coordination
Manage session rotas and short-notice staff cover
Act as first point of contact for staff absences during sessions
Allocate cover or adjust sessions as needed
Provide clear direction to staff on the day
Standards & Consistency
Monitor session quality and professionalism
Address issues promptly and calmly
Reinforce agreed procedures and expectations
Parent & Customer Interaction
Handle basic parent queries or concerns during sessions
De-escalate issues where possible
Escalate significant or unresolved matters appropriately
Communication
Keep brief records of issues or decisions
Provide short weekly updates to the Founder
Flag risks or recurring problems early
Authority
During your working hours, you will be the
primary operational decision-maker
for session delivery. You will be trusted to make real-time decisions to keep sessions running safely and smoothly.

Not a strategic planning role
Not a senior coaching or head coach position
Not an emotional support role for staff
