Hours of work - Monday to Friday - on a rotation shift pattern 06.00 - 14.30 and 10.00 - 18.30.
Weekend work Saturday & Sunday 06.00 - 14.30 will be required, this is 1 in 10 which is 5 weekends per annum.
When the weekend is covered the successful candidate would get 2 days off in the week Monday and Friday.

About Us:
We are a leading Healthcare company seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor - Operations to join our team. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our National Distribution Centre.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual with excellent leadership skills to supervise a team of warehouse operatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and directing picking and packing activities, stock control, goods-in, and administration elements within the distribution centre. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coaching and supporting your team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking and packing customer orders in accordance with individual requirements and targets
Managing departmental 5S arrangements and general warehouse cleaning and tidying
Operating counterbalance or reach trucks (where applicable)
Supporting the development of operations by recommending product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, process management, and auditing
Collaborating with Operations Managers to solve day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals
Maintaining a Warehouse asset register and completing inspections within due parameters
Coordinating and monitoring departmental operational policies and procedures
Supporting investigations into stock discrepancies and reporting back through communication channels
Inducting new Operational employees into the department, including role-specific training with risk assessments where necessary
Requirements:
Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising warehouse teams
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using computer systems and software
Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
