We are now looking for an Operations Supervisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30, based on a 40 hour contract, although these could change slightly based on the needs of the business.

The Role

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transport yard and warehouse operations at our Derby site.

You will play a key role in maintaining smooth operational flow, ensuring resources are effectively planned and deployed to meet customer expectations while upholding safety, efficiency and service quality.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll manage teams across inbound and outbound processes, ensuring products are handled safely and customer timelines are met.

Additionally, you will:

- Load and unload vehicles using the correct equipment and methods
- Carry out equipment checks and escalate issues promptly
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies

About You

To be considered as an Operations Supervisor, you will need:

- Supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team
- Previous warehouse experience
- Computer literacy, including experience of Excel
- Attention to detail
