Are you ready to take the lead on-site and make a real impact in modular building projects across the UK? We're looking for a proactive and safety-focused

Operations Supervisor

to join our team at Balfour Beatty, where you'll play a key role in the installation and removal of modular accommodation on BB and BBJV projects.

What you'll be doing



Supervise subcontractor teams on-site, ensuring smooth and safe operations Deliver clear and effective task and safety briefings Implement risk assessments and method statements as needed Champion exceptional customer service and uphold Balfour Beatty's values Maintain strong relationships with site personnel and stakeholders Ensure compliance with our Code of Conduct and report any unsafe acts or near misses Keep the site tidy, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards Monitor and report on the quality of modular building products and installations


Who we're looking for

Essential:




CSCS Supervisor/Manager's card SSSTS or SMSTS certification Strong health and safety knowledge Full clean UK driving licence Excellent communication and customer service skills Solid record-keeping abilities Flexible attitude and willingness to embrace new challenges Ability to travel throughout the UK and overnight stays.

Desirable:




CPCS Lift Supervisor / Appointed Person (Blue Card) Slinger Signaller qualification Experience with modular/temporary buildings Additional trade skills (e.g. Joinery, Plumbing, Electrical) NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Construction Site Supervisor

Additional Information:



This is a site-based role with travel across the UK Overnight stays will be required.
