Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing our Ops teams on site to ensure standards and safety are maintained.

Responsibilities

Supervise the operations team ensuring compliance in all areas, meeting operational targets, both planned and reactive work

Train and develop staff in line with method statements / COSHH / training matrix

Cover all H&S requirements including equipment / PPE checks

Offer technical advice and assist the Ops Controller as required

Resolve problems effectively

Develop and manage effective communication with clients and staff

Produce / update RAMS as required

Constantly look for ways to improve department systems / methods of working

Take appropriate action to improve performance if required

Identify new business opportunities within the structure of the business and client contracts

Skills Required

Previous experience of managing planned and reactive works is essential

2 years Supervisory experience is preferred

NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is preferred

The ability to lead by example, focusing on improving the Ops Dept

Flexibility to meet rapidly changing priorities and deadlines

Excellent communication, planning and time management skills

Ability to maintain standards and reach KPI targets

Embraces change, with a professional approach

Experience training and monitoring staff

Good communication and IT skills are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-33,000.00 per year
