We are a small growing commercial cleaning business seeking an experienced Office Administrator with accounts knowledge and HR to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our office, ensuring efficiency and productivity while providing excellent administrative support.

Duties



The candidate must be:

Well organised, able to multi task and work well under pressure as this is a very fast paced role working alongside the MD.

Must be proficient in Microsoft packages i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, knowledge of Xero would be of advantage (although full training will be provided).

Must have experience of basic bookkeeping/accounts tasks. Inputting invoices, credit control, expenses etc. Working alongside the finance manager to ensure payroll and accounts deadlines are met.

Answering the telephone, responding to emails in a timely manner.

Liaise with clients and staff - respond to their queries and book their work into the internal systems.

Rota and staff management.

Assisting with recruitment, inductions, contracts and other employee onboarding as well as other basic HR Duties (advice and support is given)

Assisting with promoting the company and working to make the office a more efficient and organised environment.

Any other duties as requested.

Skills
- Strong organisational abilities
- Previous experience in team management and supervising roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in using office software and equipment
- Familiarity with Xero for financial management
- Knowledge of basic human resources practices
