As an Operations Support Analyst - Sea Freight, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery across our Sea and Air Freight accounts. What You'll Be Responsible For

Financial & Commercial Excellence

Ensure accurate and timely cost entries and invoicing in collaboration with the Department Manager Resolve queries from customers, suppliers, and internal teams (Transport, AP, AR, HR) with speed and professionalism Monitor internal department performance and proactively support improvements

Operational Mastery

Use internal Freight Management Systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage daily tasks Invoice clients on time and in line with agreed quotations and SOPs Maintain UK Sea Import compliance with global standards Communicate changes to key data across internal and external stakeholders Review exception reports weekly to identify and resolve recurring data issues Support the Central Admin Team with general administrative duties and provide cover during peak periods Help implement process improvements and efficiency measures Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and SOP requirements Maintain clear documentation of processes, exceptions, and SOPs

Customer Service & Compliance

Resolve operational queries from internal and external departments with a customer-first mindset Ensure accurate data entry and timely adjustments Continuously review and refine SOPs and internal procedures to maintain compliance and quality

What You'll Bring

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with freight or logistics systems (preferred but not essential) A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
