Salary:



28,000 - 34,000k per annum dependant upon experience

Role Purpose:



We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Yard and Operations Coordinator to oversee daily operations within our yard and office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience with office software, and excellent communication abilities. This role involves coordinating yard activities, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth logistical processes to support the overall efficiency of our operations and compliance with company standards. . The Yard Coordinator will play a vital part in maintaining safety standards and facilitating effective communication between team members and external partners. This role will involve a mix of office-based administration and hands-on yard work, with occasional travel to site.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist operations team with ordering plant, materials, and equipment. Proofread quotes, RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements), and other documentation. Maintain the yard area, ensuring organization and stock control. Coordinate delivery of materials and plant to site. Maintain and fix power tools and plant Support project administration and management tasks. Prepare loading lists for projects. Manage compliance areas such as LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). Oversee PPE management and stock levels. Work closely with the operations team

Working Conditions:



Predominantly office/yard based (approx. 50/50 split between computer work and hands-on tasks). Occasional travel to site required. Collaborative role working closely with the operations team.

Skills & Qualifications:



Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Good communication and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of compliance requirements (LOLER, COSHH) preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn internal systems (sage 50) Full UK driving license (for site visits).
