Your Role at St. Enoch



As

Operations Support Coordinator

, you'll support the day-to-day operations of one of Glasgow's busiest retail and leisure destinations. You'll be the go-to contact for coordination across cleaning, maintenance, security, tenant queries, compliance checks, and contractor activity. You'll also play a vital role in ensuring our health & safety, compliance, and service standards are consistently met.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values structure and efficiency, and loves contributing behind the scenes to a seamless visitor experience.

What You'll Be Doing



Act as the first point of contact for operational queries from tenants, contractors, and suppliers. Act as Duty Manager on a rotational basis Coordinate and log permits to work, risk assessments, and contractor access ensuring health and safety standards are met. Support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning, maintenance, and security services. Maintain operational records including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance certificates. Liaise with tenants regarding facilities-related issues and escalate as needed. Assist in the scheduling and coordination of planned and reactive maintenance activities. Support the centre team with emergency procedures, drills, and business continuity planning. Manage daily administration tasks including generating reports, updating asset registers, and invoice tracking. Monitor helpdesk and action service requests in a timely, efficient manner. Assist in sustainability and ESG-related initiatives across the centre. Support internal communications, update operational guides, and help onboard new team members.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, approachable, and thrives in a hands-on, public-facing operational role.

Essential skills & experience:



Previous experience in administration, facilities management, or operations support (retail or commercial environment preferred). Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Confident using Microsoft Office and facilities management systems. A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes. Understanding of health & safety principles (IOSH or similar is a bonus). High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. Strong customer service ethos and a team player attitude.

Working Hours



This is a full-time role based on-site at St. Enoch Shopping Centre. Some flexibility is required to meet the needs of the centre, including occasional weekend or evening work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 32,000.00 per year

Experience:

Facilities management: 2 years (preferred)
