Hours of work:
Monday-Friday flexible starts between the hours of 05:00-21:00. Approx 30 hours per week (shifts will be discussed on interview) This role comes with a company vehicle, fuel card and uniform.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory and supporting the Operations Manager in trading, auditing and cleaning
Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise medical equipment, surfaces, and patient rooms
Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections
Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to guidelines
Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, restrooms, and corridors
Perform specialised cleaning in critical areas like operating rooms
Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in patient and public areas
Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional
Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors
Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed
Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively
Collaborate with cleaning and medical staff for a clean environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a manager, supervisor or similar role in this field
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
