We are currently looking for an Operations Team Leader to support the Production Managers at Anwick/Sleaford!!

Job Title: Operations Team Leader



Working Hours: 40 hours/week



Key Responsibilities:



Responsible and accountable for the manufacture of quality products which meet production needs and Customer Specification and achieve profit and performance targets. Driving continuous improvement to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiencies through the development of people, process and systems Reduces any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within your area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc. Responsible for the performance and speeds of lines with the aim of maximising line efficiency. Monitor, control and report on the product quality of your area including product entering and leaving the area and the labelling of products. Responsible for effective shift change overs which includes paper work and machinery. Effectively manage the resources to ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency Liaise with all appropriate departments to ensure maximum efficiency and quality. Ensure development and training of operatives/Line Controllers Support planning and implementation of the detailed daily production programme for relevant department, reporting potential variances and problems directly and promptly Attend team meetings as required and contribute to good communication between management and operatives Any other duties that is required.

Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment Awareness of Food Manufacturing Industry Good communication skills A Good level of the English Language Good PC skills Good attention to detail Good organisational skills Problem solving and decision making skills Continuous improvement approach Able to use own initiative First Aid certificate or willing to undergo training
