About you




You are someone who enjoys a fast paced, dynamic work environment, who excels in quick problem solving and likes to get the job done!


You are able to work tactically and think strategically as the business rapidly scales. You understand how integral you are to the success and future of DigiHaul and the part you play in transforming the transport industry.




Operations Team Leader responsiblities:




Day to Day support with coverage of order profile.

Day to day management of transactional charging through internal and external business sales.

Individual route margin management.

Operational control of agreed transactions from collection through to delivery and POD return

Tactical entrepreneurial improvisation on a route by route basis for the Ad hoc and last minute request market.

Act as carrier escalation point, overseeing the management of non-compliant and poor performing carriers to the point of exit.

Day to day management of operational tasks, assisting operations manager and covering responsibilities in their absence.

Involvement in clustering and pre-procurement alongside strategic planning and procurement.

Customer route negotiation and carrier solution negotiation on a route-by-route basis.

Mantain excellent working relationships with all sites, key stakeholders, suppliers and customers

Data gathering and KPI reporting

Develop and build robust relationships with customers and carriers

Provide detailed data on activity sourced and operational performance to the brokers.



What do you need to be a Operations Team Leader?




A general understanding of the UK&I Transport Industry

Purchasing and Sales

Ability to provide constructive and supportive feedback to peers

Able to travel within UK&I

Ability to work under pressure as part of a team and alos as an individual

Good telephone communication skills

Geographical knowledge of Uk&I

Ability to think out of the box

An understanding of 3rd party sub contractions

Microsoft office skills
