The Role: Leading Our Operations Hub

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused

Operations Team Supervisor

to lead our Office Operations Team of 5.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our business. You will be responsible for ensuring our service "machine" runs like clockwork. Your team acts as the bridge between our clients and our service drivers on the road, and you will be the one ensuring that bridge remains strong, efficient, and supportive.

You won't just be managing from a distance; this is a "working supervisor" role. You will be hands-on with the daily puzzle of logistics while guiding your team to achieve 100% service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

Team Leadership:

You will manage, motivate, and develop a team of 5 office-based staff. This includes running weekly 1-2-1s, managing leave/sickness, and fostering a supportive, high-performance culture.

Orchestrating Service:

You will oversee the scheduling and routing of our field teams. When complex issues arise--like vehicle breakdowns or urgent client requests--you will be the escalation point to solve the problem.

Managing Workflow:

You will bridge the gap between "Mobilisation" (setting up new contracts) and "Planning" (daily logistics), ensuring no details get lost in translation.

Systems & Fleet:

You will oversee data accuracy in our CRM and support the Operations Director by helping manage fleet administration (such as tracking MOTs and service dates).

About You

To succeed in this role, you need to be a natural problem solver who stays calm when things get busy. We are looking for:

Leadership Experience:

You have proven experience as a Team Leader, Office Manager, or Supervisor. You are comfortable managing people and prioritising a busy team workload.

Operational Mindset:

Experience in logistics, waste management, field service, or a scheduling-heavy environment is highly preferred. You understand the reality of having teams "out on the road".

Tech Confidence:

You are highly proficient in Excel and CRM systems. If you have experience with routing software, that is a distinct advantage.
