Job Description
Operations / Technical Manager required. Our client is a well-established electronics and lighting manufacturer based in the Highgate, Birmingham area, who are seeking an enthusiastic Operations and Technical Manager to join the close knit team.
Operations / Technical Manager - Electronics Position Overview
- Carrying out technical production planning
- Managing the company MRP system with an IT lead approach
- Providing support to the works manager and resolving issues within the factory
- Overseeing the quality management system in accordance with ISO9001
- Controlling stock levels and scheduling of purchase orders
- Producing parts lists and Bill of Materials
- Providing guidance and leadership to several direct reports
- Previous experience within an Operations / Technical Manager role or similar
- Strong background within Production Planning
- Based in a commutable distance of Highgate, Birmingham
- Understanding of ISO9001
- Experienced within a manufacturing environment, electronics experience with PCB / SMT\'s is desirable
- Experience with an MRP system
- Starting salary \xc2\xa334,000 - \xc2\xa336,000
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00. Friday 07:30 - 13:30. 38-hour week, permanent position.
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
