About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Concrete Block Plant Technician

to join our team at a modern manufacturing facility in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically and electrically skilled professional to operate and maintain state-of-the-art block production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and oversee concrete block manufacturing equipment, with a focus on

Poyatos

or

Columbia

block machines. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime. Monitor production quality and ensure products meet required specifications. Work collaboratively with the engineering and maintenance teams to optimise plant performance. Maintain detailed logs and records of machine operation and maintenance schedules. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the plant.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating concrete block machinery, ideally

Poyatos

or

Columbia

systems. Strong background in

mechanical

and

electrical engineering

(qualification or hands-on experience). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with PLC systems and automated production environments is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
