ATG is a global sourcing specialist that partners and works with manufacturers of commodities in China, India and South East Asia. We supply parts and components to Original Equipment Manufacturers direct from our overseas factories to our customers wherever they are in the world.

As Warehouse Supervisor you will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.

Responsibilities & Duties

Ensure pre-start checks on all operational equipment. Monitor accuracy and organisation during unloading/inspection of all inbound goods/returned product checking for damaged or missing items. Supervise picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure customers' orders are fulfilled. Labelling, packing and wrapping goods as appropriate. Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse, ensuring goods don't get damaged. Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment. Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse. Loading goods onto trucks for shipping. Ensure all workspaces kept clean through good housekeeping. Carry out stock counts as and when required. Be responsible for workplace and personal health & safety and reporting any health & safety issues using the correct procedures. Any other warehouse duties as deemed appropriate by the General Manager. Assist in employee training, development and engagement.

Competencies & Requirements

Full and current Counterbalance Forklift Truck license Experience and ability to work to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Understanding of working with health, safety, environment and quality. Experience in leading a team in a warehousing and logistics environment. A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement. Proactive with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement.
