Job Description

The Role of an Operations Scheduler




As the Operations Scheduler you will be responsible for production and execution of the Daily Flying Programme (DFP) utilising the Training Management System (TMS). You will act as a focal point for all scheduling or TMS enquiries, liaising with various internal and external agencies and all staff. You will staff the Operations Desk ensuring the DFP is executed safely and expeditiously. You will manage TMS daily to ensure accuracy of data for reporting purposes. You will also be a focal point for the ATOMS project, the replacement for TMS.

Essential Criteria of an Operations Scheduler



Ability to communicate clearly and concisely utilising various methods. Proven track record for building rapport and working inclusively with others, along with the ability to challenge others respectfully. Show capacity for prioritising tasks under time pressure whilst maintaining a calm mindset. Ability to adapt to change, adopting agile working practices to meet evolving business needs. Good problem solving and analytical skills to help optimise productivity and efficiency. Excellent IT skills with the ability to utilise MS Office and other digital programmes.

Desirable Criteria of an Operations Scheduler



Experience in training management. Experience in use of scheduling tools (such as Agenda or STARS). Experience in an aviation environment.

Qualifications for an Operations Scheduler



GCSE English Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) (desirable) GCSE Maths Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) (desirable)

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and provides a stable Monday to Friday work schedule with rare weekend flying.
