Summary

We're looking for a proactive and versatile

Optical Assistant

to join our team. This is a dynamic role combining administrative tasks, glazing support, customer service, and lens bank management. You'll be part of a close-knit team where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

Manage recalls and schedule eye test appointments, update the diary, handle customer communications, generate invoices, monitor and respond to emails, and oversee the process of lens orders--including tracking delivery and managing the lens bank.

Customer Interaction:

Assist with order collections, provide basic guidance when required, and ensure a high level of customer service in all touchpoints.

Retail & E-commerce Support:

Monitor Shopify for incoming orders and ensure timely processing.

Glazing Assistance:

Support glazing operations where needed, contributing to efficient workflow.

Shop Maintenance:

Contribute to general upkeep of the store, ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine interest in the optical field. Previous experience in optical environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
