The Role:

We're looking for someone who can bring both

optical experience

and a passion for customer service. You'll be supporting the practice in all areas, from welcoming patients to helping them choose the perfect frames.

Key responsibilities include:

Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner Booking and managing appointments Advising on frame and lens choices Carrying out pre-screening tests (e.g. visual fields, tonometry, retinal imaging) Supporting with repairs, adjustments, and collections Handling administrative tasks and maintaining a clean, organised space
About You:

We're ideally looking for someone who:

Has

previous experience working as an Optical Assistant

(essential) Is confident and approachable, with excellent people skills Has good attention to detail and is well-organised Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team Takes pride in delivering a high standard of care

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37 per week
